Welcome to ISSCAA 2010!

The 3rd International Symposium on Systems and Control in Aeronautics and Astronautics (ISSCAA 2010) will be held from 08-10 June 2010 in Harbin, China. The conference is jointly organized by Space Control and Inertial Technology Research Center (SCIT) of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) and Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), China IEEE, Harbin Session.

China's history in the development of Aeronautics and Astronautics started in the early 1900s. In 1903, there was a gentleman called Feng Ru who designed the earliest aircraft in China. He went to the United States when he was a child and was inspired by the Wright Brothers’ when they made their successful flight. He devoted himself to aircraft manufacturing. He began manufacturing airplanes in a factory and started the Guangdong Air Vehicle Company in 1909, completing an airplane that year. He returned to China in 1911 to begin development of aviation business in China but subsequently died in a flight accident in 1912. Since then, the aeronautics and astronautics industry has taken a great leap ahead both in terms of is development and its research.

With the same spirit of our pioneers, we would like to further the growth and development of this field. Thus, the main purpose of the conference is to create a forum for scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world to present their latest technology advancement in systems and control of aeronautics and astronautics.

We would like to welcome you to present your papers at our conference and participate in this exciting conference.
